Ceramic Coating Care Instructions

Congratulations on choosing to protect your vehicle with a ceramic coating! Ceramic coatings provide long-lasting protection while helping your vehicle’s paint maintain a glossy, like-new appearance. To preserve the coating’s appearance, performance, and warranty coverage, please follow these care instructions.

  1. Do not wash the vehicle for at least 7 days after application. This allows the ceramic coating to fully cure and properly bond to the paint.
  2. When washing the vehicle, use a pH-neutral automotive soap and a clean microfiber wash mitt. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive brushes, sponges, or non-microfiber towels, as they may damage the coating or reduce its effectiveness.
  3. After washing, thoroughly dry the vehicle with a clean microfiber drying towel. Allowing water to air-dry may result in water spots or mineral deposits.
  4. Avoid washing the vehicle in direct sunlight or while the paint is hot. High temperatures can cause soap and water to dry too quickly, leaving streaks, spots, or residue behind.
  5. Avoid automatic car washes, especially those that use brushes. Brush-style car washes can scratch the paint and negatively affect the ceramic coating. Hand washing or professional detailing is strongly recommended.
  6. Remove bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, hard-water spots, and other contaminants as soon as possible. If left on the surface for an extended period, these contaminants may stain or etch the coating.
